As a pioneering step that opens the door for a large number of holders of undergraduate qualifications in Electrical and Computer Engineering to pursue postgraduate studies in Libya, the foundation stone has been laid for the establishment of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and its entry into the School of Applied Sciences and Engineering from the autumn semester of the academic year 2003 – 2004 M.
